James C. Byczek, Managing Director – Marketing, Chicago Capital Holdings, LLC – Mr. Byczek has over thirty years of court appointed receivership, commercial real estate sales, real estate auction, property management and property development experience.  He has acted as a court appointed receiver on real estate assets ranging in scope from apartment buildings, warehouses, retail centers and office buildings and on businesses ranging from gas station/c-stores to medical practices.  In addition, he has managed apartment complexes, shopping centers, warehouses, gas stations and office buildings for both private and intuitional owners. He has sold over $1 billion of real estate via conventional negotiated sales programs and real estate auctions, with asset classes including retail, office, industrial, self storage, multi-family residential, condominiums, and single family homes.

Mr. Byczek established and directed regional offices for the Chartwell Group, RAF Partners and Sheldon Good and Company prior to joining Chicago Capital Holdings.  Over the past thirty years he has conducted live event, sealed bid auctions conventional sales programs across the United States for financial institutions, insurance companies, government agencies and private sellers.  In addition he has negotiated work-out agreements between borrowers and lenders to effectively sell properties in all asset classes. Mr. Byczek was a pioneer in the use of multi-property, multi-seller auction programs for both commercial and residential properties throughout the US.  Mr. Byczek received a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
